Well, welcome back to another episode of the Hellison's Dorsey podcast. I am riding solo this episode. So is, uh, just going to be me. He really listened to my wonderful, sweet little voice on today. Um, so I'm curious episode because. I had a podcast guest come on and her episodes should be publishing soon. Um, in the weeks to come. But, uh, her and I was talking and we were talking about. The definition of success. And that wasn't what the whole topic was about. But in there I had to interweave. But the true definition of success meant to me. And so we got on a tangent about that. I can't wait to actually record the episode. I'm never bored them. So, but Polish that, so. But, um, I started talking about it and, uh, you know, it's so funny because online, they constantly talk about. Five K months, he came months, um, a hundred thousand. A million online. And that sounds really good, especially from a person who comes from like a low-income upbringing or, you know, who never seen that kind of money or fathom that and dream of getting there and like, oh, that is so awesome. But the thing of it is, is that a true definition of yes. When I hit 10 K months, I will be successful. Um, or I will feel successful and honestly, no. Um, and the reason why I say no is because there are other things in life that give you fulfillment. Um, it could be your family. It could be something as super small. As maybe your spouse taking out the trash. Like. Every day for a week or every day from now on that's successful. Like, if you was telling your spouse, could you please take out the trash? Could you please take out the trash? And there has been times where you didn't have to tell them they automatically did it. That's success right there. And I know that may sound funny, but. Honestly, it's the truth. And I started thinking I'm like, well, what is my definition of success? And my definition is sir, turn off my phone here while I'm recording. But my definition of success, and please don't laugh at me, but. It's when I can. Be able to go to Disneyland every month. So if you know me, I'm a big Disneyland fan. I love Disney love going there. Um, I'm like seven hours away. Cause I'm here in California. Disneyland. Isn't so cow. So it was like a seven hour drive. We sometimes fly. We like driving the most times. Cause it's fun. Uh, we get to watch movies and everything I don't watch while I'm driving. So don't be concerned, but if I can be able to go to Disneyland, Once a month. Like they may not be nothing to someone. Or those of you who are listening out there, or you may be laughing at this. But I'm successful when I can do that, because how do y'all know. That. Being able to afford to actually go to this. And land is challenging in itself. Like people spin. I mean, people say. Thousands of dollars. And it takes him at least once, sometimes two years to be able to afford. To go to Disneyland within two years or so. And you have to get flights. You have to get the tickets. You have to get the. The room to stay. Not only that you have to get their high, expensive snacks because you definitely want to taste them. It's Disney. You're on vacation, right? Um, you want to get the. Uh, 39 90$9, uh, How do I know the price? I know. Um, ears, which they swap them out, almost every single mother, every single season. So it's like, I have to get that. So when you add all of that up, it could be thousands of dollars. And that's something that people say. Years months. To be able to go. Some people use their tax return. Some people use their bonus money. To do so. And, um, Being able to go to Disneyland every month is like a dream come true. For me. So what I can be able to go there. Every month. And not Koreans. All in getting that Mickey premium bar. I made it. I'm successful. There is no number on that monthly success. There's no number. And the reason being is because, okay, spoiler alert. I am an annual pass holder. I pride myself on that. Um, I made sure to become an annual pass holder. Um, but also I have to think about, okay, why don't we get there? So either I'm going to fly or I'm going to dry. Well, likely if I'm going every month, I probably will have on myself. Um, so I'm going to fly. And then not only that, well, the room, well, I do have a timeshare, but sometimes we use those child timeshares for extended vacations. So I will have to find a room for myself. Or. I'll go there, spend a couple of hours or so. That day and they come back home. However, it is. However, the reason is. It's still cost for me to get to this me. Rather I'm annual pass holder or not. It costs money. So I'm like, I've made it if I'm able to go to Disney every single month. So here's the thing. I want you as my listener to hold me accountable. That is my goal. Once I'm able to do that every month. I will definitely do a podcast episode. On how I was able to go to Disney every month and reach my success goals. So that's success to me is not the 5k months, 10 K months, 20 K months. A hundred thousand dollars a year. It's not, that is listen. I need to go to Disney every month. It's my mental fix. Okay. So. That's what I want to just discuss. So when you're thinking about. You know, what does success look like for you? Think of it in terms of what's gonna make you happy. Internally, what's gonna make your soul happy. Okay. Money. Isn't everything. It's not. And if you high in debt, I will say, working on pain at all. knows it's pretty easy. You have to be disciplined. You have to be disciplined. When you're saving. So pay, this is what I suggest to you. We're going to pan off one bill. Once you paid off that one bill take that money that she was paying off that one bill and then that one bill monthly. Uh, um, payment. Put those suits together and then use that money to pay off the next bill. And then keep doing it, keep doing it that way. And I guarantee you you'll pay your bills off faster. Okay. It's a little tidbit. Okay. I am. Going to wrap up. I'm getting out of here. Take care and PI.
